This workshop will help you improve your search skills within the VSB Library catalogue and the VSB databases. Hosted by teacher-librarians, we will explore quality resources (hard copy and digital) available to your students K-12. Bring any subjects/topics you will be teaching in the next few weeks that you would like students to do research on.
Leslie has been a Teacher-Librarian since 2012. She has worked in Elementary, Secondary, and Adult Education libraries. She joined the VSB as a TL in 2018 at Kitsilano and is now the TL at Sir Matthew Begbie Elementary.
Katharine Shipley is the District Resource Teacher - Teacher-Librarian. As well as being a Teacher-Librarian, she has worked as a French Immersion and Core French classroom teacher. She is passionate about finding the right resources for students and critical thinking.
