Title Learning from Students & Each Other: Rethinking Climate Education (Feb 18)
Year 2021/2022
Subject Area Sustainability
Audience Group Secondary Teachers
Open to external participants? No
Description
What do your students want to learn about climate change, and how do they want to be engaged?
Join us to try something new - a virtual climate learning lab.
You’ll hear directly from students, find out what kind of climate education students are interested in, and become part of an ongoing and active network of engaged educators.
Open to teachers of any subject – we are seeking ideas for interdisciplinary climate change education. Bring your ideas, questions, success stories, and challenges. Help your colleagues identify areas where climate change education can be included in every subject area.
Be ready to contribute your ideas and collaborate with other educators and students seeking to advance holistic climate education in the VSB.
