The “Teach Mental Health Literacy” UBC online training will prepare you to teach the Mental Health Curriculum Guide, a web-based, modular mental health curriculum. After this online training you will be ready to teach this resource to your students. This training provides an overview of understanding mental health and mental illness, stigma, and finding mental health support. This self-paced course takes approximately 6-8 hours to complete.



1. Indicate your interest in taking this course by registering on the Pro-D reg site. Those who sign up will be sent a follow up message with a Teams invite for Jan. 17th (Pro D Day)

Before Jan. 13th (Thursday)

2. Sign up and register for course access:

On Jan. 17th, 2022 (Monday)

3. 9:30am - Using your Teams invitation, join the call to meet Irene Kim for a brief introduction and help with registration/troubleshooting.

4. 10:00 to 2:30pm - Complete the online program independently

5. 2:30 to 3:00pm - Re-join Teams to debrief course content with Irene Kim and fellow educators.
